The main problem people face when confronted with the challenge to lose weight is twofold; it is how to lose weight and keep it off. We need to be as diligent in trying to keep the weight off as we are in trying to lose it otherwise we will continue to find ourselves in an endless cycle of losing weight and putting it back on. Keeping the weight off takes as much discipline as trying to lose it in the first place, if this is not understood then we set ourselves up for a lifetime of frustration and defeat and this could cause one to eventually give up and follow the path of obesity; a path which requires no discipline at all
